~A Busy Day~ Thursday, July 26,2007

(Check pictures below)
Have you ever wondered when there would
ever be a day when everything would go the
way you planned it?

This morning, Ethan & I were getting around
for the day. All of a sudden he came running
to me and he said Grandma they are home.
I don't know why. Then here came Evan up
the stairs saying Grandma we're here. Easton
is sick. Mommy had brought him home, he
had a temperature of 102. So knowing we
had Art Day today, she brought Evan home
too, beings she would have brought him
home at her break anyway. She had given
Easton some medicine, and put him to sleep,
before she went back to work. After she left,
I decided that if Easton sleeps now he will
not want to sleep while we have Art Class.
So I decided that I would have it now. So we
did.

Last week Ethan & Evan made Toad Abodes.
They had to shellac them. So that is what they
are doing here.

This is Ethan finishing his Toad Abode.

This is Evan finishing his Toad Abode.

After the boys finished their Toad Abode,
They had some pictures taken. This is one of
those pictures. The Giraffe Height Chart,
they made a couple of weeks ago.
Actually, Ethan had made a mistake while

he was doing something on the computer
and printed the giraffe out, not knowing
that it would be 13 pages. So we used it
as an art project.

Good job don't you think?

After which they painted some other animals,
for we are learning about God's creation. And I
thought what better way then to help them learn
about the different animals God has created,
from a book Aunt Becky sent them in one of the boys
birthday boxes. You will see as we go.

This is Ethan's chimpanzee.

This is Evan's chimpanzees.

This is what we used, markers and the pictures are
in these books. Check them out in the next couple of
pictures.

The markers came with the books.

This is the book they are using.

After Art Class we had lunch, then
the boys had some fun time. As you
see here, this is Ethan

As you can see he is having fun.

Now what do you suppose Evan
was doing for fun?

This tells it all.

After his nap, and he ate lunch
with us. Easton's fun time was playing
with this character. You can see
that he wasn't feeling well.

Then after fun time, the boys had Bible Study.
The pictures they are holding tells us what they
had for the study. Noah's Ark, more animals
stories.
The scripture verse was Genisis 6:22,
"So Noah did as exactly as God commanded".

Then we all laid down, (Grandma needed a
break).

When Mommy came home we had supper,

she then wanted to go shopping. So we got

ready to go.

On our way out the door the

boys placed their Toad Abodes,

Here is Ethan placing his Toad Abode.

Here is Evan's Toad Abode.

When we came back home from shopping

the boys had a nice surprise. On the side

walk there was a toad, they were so excited

I told them to be quiet, so that they wouldn't

scare it. While I went in to get my camera. I

came back out and it must have gotten spooked

for he had hopped onto the palm tree near by.

Take a look, I did get him.

Did I say "Toad"?

Hello, Evan's Great Grandpa and Grandma Weatherwax, and Grandpa Gerard sent Evan cards for his birthday last week with money in them. Evan decided to put the money together and this is what he chose to get with the money.

Someone got a box from Michigan, on July the 14th

"Fishing for Men" Bible School Theme!

Just want to say the Bible School was great.

Ruth and I attended every service, along with Easton.

The Theme was "Fishing for Men". Every night the attendence grew, by Friday night there were as many as 292. The Friday night offering the girls had I think something like $43.00 and the boys had $250.00. So the children really worked in this Bible School. It was even viewed on the internet, and children were able to attend the Bible School from where ever they were. Some children were able to give their heart to Jesus through the internet, Praise the Lord, they were from Canada and I am sure that there were others that we don't even know about. Speaking of giving their hearts to Jesus this week there were times of praying at the alter with children, lots of children. Praise His Holy Name!

I appreciate what they did in this program. For I know what it envolves in

putting a Bible School together. That is what I did for

so many years. And enjoyed every minute of it.

So seeing the Bakers and all the hard work

they put into it. I know what is envolved.

Planning, and preparing isn't an overnight job.

For me for something like Bible School may take

months to put together. There were a few times that

I was asked in two weeks notice at some places, and I ended up using

something that I had did earlier in the year.

But with what all that was put into this Bible School

was great. I so enjoyed the object Lessons and the games, the stories, and skits that were put on. Thank You Brother and Sister Baker. May God continually Bless you in the work you are doing.

Back in the Groove of things!

Don't know what happen here, but wanted to share.
This was taken at the Hobe Sound Bible Church, Hobe Sound Florida,
At their Bible School the first day! Sorry for the quality of the picture.
I am not sure but it might be because of my batteries being low.
I will be posting more later, this picture was taken the first night of Bible School.
They started out by saying the pledges.
The theme is "Fishing for Men",
It has been a really great Bible School I have been able to sit under it myself and enjoy it.
Again I will post more pictures later.
