Rachel Orozco's
Bridal Shower
(Soon to be~
Mrs. Alex Joslin)

It is hard to believe little Alex Joslin is getting married.
Very soon, I might add.

Saturday, the Nineteenth of December
Two thousand and nine
at 2:00 PM
Hobe Sound Community Presbyterian Church
Hobe Sound, Florida

I was privileged to be invited to the Bridal Shower.
I took some pictures to share with those that were not able to attend.
Hope you enjoy them.

As you entered the front door of the Joslin's home,
this is what you saw. Isn't is so pretty and very inviting?

Then the next place to see the beautiful decorations
(
which by the way were done by Ada Budensiek and Emily Heath,
job well done girls,
) was as you entered the kitchen.
Here is where they had the punch set up. It was so good.

As you entered the dining room this is what you seen.

This is the beautiful cake that was made, I am so sorry, I didn't catch who made it. Yes, it is black and white.

The Luncheon they had was wonderful
.

Here is the Honored Guest,
Rachel, she is going to make a beautiful Bride.

This was the first gift she opened.
The rest of them are not in the order in which she opened them.
Sorry nor do I know who they are from
.

This is the Towel set that we gave her.
Two of each, bath towel, hand towel and wash cloth.

This is a Christmas Ornament we gave,
as I snapped the picture she turned it.
And was already starting to open another gift.
The ornament was two snowmen,
a girl and a boy cozy side by side,
it is silver with a little color on the faces.
Very pretty, sorry I couldn't get the pic.

Mother ~ In ~ Law,
Tammie Joslin

I am sorry I don't know everyone's name,

Everyone had such a good time visiting,
Here is Sis. Durren, (
sorry if I mess up the spelling ):
)

The Bride to be getting ready to open her gifts.
Remember the pictures are not in the order in which they were taken sorry!

Tammie the Shower was beautiful!
I believe it turned out really well.
Thank you for inviting me.
I had a really good time.
I felt good to be able to get out,
and actually mingle with people.
I pray you will get all you need to accomplish
like you want to before the Big Wedding Day!

Best Wishes Alex & Rachel!

(while we were taking pictures of everyone, there was a couple there that I hadn't even noticed being there. She came up to me and asked if she could take a group picture of us all for us. So we called the boys in and that is what this picture is from. )
Last Night With Sarah and Lori

Jim and I wanted to do something with Sarah and Lori before they left to go back home.
We decided to get something for a picnic and took them to a beautiful park. Sis. Louise you know which one I am talking about.

The boys were able to play on the play ground after our picnic. They really enjoyed it.
Then Grandpa watched them while Sarah, Lori, and I walked around a bit, took some pictures as you will see as you scroll down.

Sarah was wanting some pictures of her done so I took a few for her. It was quite windy tonight, as you probably can see in the pictures. For even the boys hair to be blowing like it is, you knew it had to be windy.

Sarah and her roommate, Lori Conaway. They flew down from Michigan to spend some time with us. The Girls, Becky and Ruth, helped them by keeping them busy. But they said it was Vacation and they were just content and not be on the go all the time. They went to Ft. Meyers as one of their outings. The girls really liked that. You can see pictures on their fb. Then they went to Miami for something to do. We ate several of our suppers together. and enjoyed the fellowship we had while they were here.

There was a board walk around the park.
The two girls and I walked it while taking the pictures.

While we were trying to get some pictures, Lori was trying to take Sarah and I and it seemed that the camera wasn't taking the picture, so we kept trying. While we were trying Sarah stuck her head in front of the camera and Lori snapped her picture. Come to find out all the pictures did take. Well I didn't put them all on here.

Sarah liked the formation of this tree.

Then there was this picture I told Sarah it reminded me of the story of Eve, in the Bible.

Here Sarah is setting on steps that lead into the water.

Here she is just taking it easy.

This is Sarah and her roommate, Lori.

As I had said the boys were able to play on the play ground.
So I am trying to get some good shots as the boys play.

Just want to say to Sarah and Lori,
We sure were glad that you could come down and spend some time with us.
It has been a real joy that you were able to come down.
I pray all will work out for your trip back home.
We love you and already miss you, sniff.
Have a safe trip back home Girls!
We Love You!
