1. Sunday- October 21, 2007
Yes, it is Sunday, the day that we go to the Father's House to worship Him. Is that what took place in your home to day? Taking the family to the Father's House is the most rewarding thing that we can do. Throughout out our lives as christians, that is what we have done.
Raising our children for the Lord is so rewarding. As we look back we would have not did it any other way. I feel that our girls have become beautiful woman that have chose their lot in life. Sarah is living in Jackson, Michigan working in a Retirement Home. She loves working with the people, the residents of the home, she has had a few pass in her arms. It takes special people to work in those kind of places, and I believe that Sarah is one of those special people.
Then our second daughter, Ruth who lives in Stuart, Florida, raising three little boys, our grandsons, Ethan 6, Evan 5, and Easton 2. Not only is she the Mother to our grandsons she also works in a Child Care of 2-3 years olds in Hobe Sound, Florida, next to Hobe Sound Christian Academy, where our grandsons Ethan, and Evan attend. Little Easton goes with mommy to work, for they have a pre-school in the Child Care Center. She is able to get out of work so that she is there to get the boys from school and spend the rest of the evening with them every day. Not only does she care her boys and the children at the child care center, she also is in charge of the Childrens Church in her church, about 12-15 children every Sunday. So she is blessed being able to work with children.
Then our youngest, Rebecca, most know her by Becky, she still lives at home, caring for Mom & Dad. No,really she works out in also a Retirement Home, in Sparta, Michigan. She to has a big responsability of caring for the residents in the home. She does care for her residents very much. Again it takes that special person to do the job that she does.
We thank the Lord for the girls lives very much. We feel they have grown to know the Lord and living for Him and giving their all in the work that they are doing. Would you please pray for them, that the Lord will continually help them and give them the strength to continually give their love and care in their jobs and who ever they come in contact with. Help them to be a blessing.
Speaking of our Father's Day, Sunday, it is He who made the beauty of the fall that a lot of us get to see. I have shared some pictures with you of the Muskegon river and God's beauty. Where my sister had shared some time with me. I love the beauty in which God, our heavenly father created.
Below are some pictures that I have taken a few weeks ago at a lake that is not to far from our home. Actually we have several lakes that we could go too. But this one is Long Lake, in Sparta, Michigan. It is a lake I have gone to all my life. Sparta is my home town. I was trying to get some pictures for those of you in Florida. The day was kind of a hazy one. The sun did attempt to come out a little, but most of the day was hazy or gray looking, so the pictures are not what I would have liked them to be.
(You may have to click on to older blogs, to see them all I believe there actually 4 blogs.)
