You know the story of Daniel and the Lions Den Right?

Ethan and Evan came home from school Thursday.
They went upstairs to change and after which, they came running downstairs
saying they were playing Daniel in the Lions Den. So here they are:

Day Two Going to School!
Isn't this the most beautiful sight? At 7:30 in the morning. Grandma sure missed it this morning. That is what happens when you sleep in. Aren't they handsome? I sure do think so.
I am not sure what they are thinking here. But I know that Evan was excited about going to school. As you see in the back how hard Ethan is working at getting his shoes tied. He is getting the hang of it Mommy says.
I Love it! Don't you just want to hug them. And get ahold of their cheeks. That is what Grandmas do isn't it?
Ethan is still working at it, that is the way to go Ethan, practice makes perfect they say.

Here are the boys attending their first day of school,

today was actually everyones firsts.

Mommy started her first day of her new schedual at work

8:00-1:00. She requested to work part time, so she could

be there to pick the boys up from school.

Then she has the rest of the evening to spend with them.

Today was Easton's first day of Pre-School for the new year,

also he started wearing "Big" boys underwear all day.

For Grandma's first was to get to see the grandsons go to

school. Then she got to be the first to pick them up from

school, for they only had a half day.

Jonah and the "Big" fish
At this writting, I am tired and weary. I have been working on this one blog I don't know how long. I have had to keep reduing it, I don't know how many times. I guess the devil didn't want me to make it. But I am telling you now, that I am attempting to write it out now.
As you all know I will be leaving Florida September 5th. So I am winding down what I am able to do with the boys.
The boys start school like was said in the last blog, Monday. So Thursday was our last day to have Bible Study. So we had it and the lesson was - can you guess what it was?
Let's look at the pictures and find out.

Following the Bible Study, we had our last Art Class.

We decided to paint pictures from our books of Animals.

We painted fish in a fish tank, thought that that would go

along with our story of the "Big" fish.

This is Evan's Picture-

This is Ethan's Picture-

After Art Class, it was lunch time. Grandma decided
we needed to go on a picnic in the park that is near by.
Hotdogs, chips and grape drink. Ummm, good.

We had a good time at the park.
I have an idea,
how about if we tell the story of Jonah and the Big
Fish.
We will let the boys tell the story,
Wait a minute we need someone to be Jonah!
We pick Easton, does the shirt fit the story?
or maybe it just fits Easton.

Anyway Jonah ,

was about his business and one day, God
talked to him and said "Jonah, I want you to do
something really big for me", but Jonah went about
doing his own thing.. He talked with some of his
friends about what God wanted him to do, but he
went the other way.

Then one day a big storm came, they were on a boat
and the storm was so bad that they started to throw things
out of the boat. Jonah said wait..........

You need to throw me over board.
So they threw him over board.

Then a "Big" fish came and gubbled Jonah up, and
he was in the belly of the big fish.

Then in the end of the story Jonah ends up praying to God = apologizing for refusing Him and asking God to forgive him.

Then God sent a way for the "Big" fish to spit Jonah up on the dry ground.

(like on the puzzle up at the top of this blog)

Hello again,
I just love this blogging thing,
when I can share with everyone I love.
This is a picture of Evan with his Pre-school teacher,
Miss Linda,
Today was Evan's last day at Pre-school.
He gave her a nice gift.
To say Good bye!
She loved it.

Then Miss Becky, she is the assistent to Miss Linda,
Evan also brought her a nice gift. She too loved it.

Then Ruth's class room had a party,

for those that are moving on to the next class,

here is Ethan and Easton helping to celebrate,

for Easton is in that class room.

Well,
the summer is coming to an end for me,
as far as taking care of Ethan.
School starts August 20th,
that is only a week away.
I will be going home September 5th.
So today, as I had been doing on Mondays,
I took Ethan to the Library.
Then we went and picked up the boys early.
We then went to Wendy's and had a Frosty.
I have to say that they picked up fast,
I told them when I first got there that the
chocolate frosty's were the real thing.
I told them that the vanilla frosty wasn't real,
cause the chocolate came first.
So now they tell me that every time,
chocolate is the only real thing.
We then made probably our last trip
to the beach as the four of us together.
So I did my thing,
caught some pictures,
before we went to pick up Mommy at work.

It is so hard to get all three to get together,
and smile for me as you can see here.

And then it was the No see um bugs,

they were really out to get us.

So we kept it short at the beach.

I wanted to catch some individual shots of the boys,

for when I get home I am going to copy them,

and put them on my shelves in my bedroom,

where I can see them every day.

That way I will be able to look at them and that will help

me when I am not able to see them in person.

I Love it, he tried so hard to help grandma here.

He was saying cheese, and the bugs were getting him.

Really I did good to even get this one.

He was not the picture taken kind.

He was always giving grandma a hard time

when taking pictures. But,

Bless His Little Heart,

He Did It Here!

We had some errans to run this morning for Mommy.
We took the van in and got the oil changed.
Then went to take pictures of Easton and Evan
riding the ponies at their Pre-School.
With us being gone on Monday,
we were on able to have Library day as Ethan and I do.
So we made Friday Library day for this week.
We first went to Subway to pick up lunch.
We then took it to the beach.

Oh it was so good. We had to keep cool, by drinking.

That was so good,

Now we need to do our thing and get to the Library.

It is so good to be able to go to the Library,

and do some reading. For after all we need to

get ready for school.

And then there is the computer time!

Well, don't you need that time to think?

Well really it is a game to play.

Last week was a long week. We arrived back to Florida with God's blessings.
Ruth had to be back to work Friday. As did Evan and Easton had to be back in Pre-School. This week it was "Cowboy Week", and the boys just made it to get involved in it. Today was a big day for them. The Pre-School had ponies brought in so that the children could have a ride. They really enjoyed it. Was so glad that they were able to ride them they were so looking forward to it for a few weeks now.
