Winter Is Coming!
Yes, winter is on it's way here right now. They say we can get up to 1-2 inches tonight. So here we go. I don't know if it is more interesting to get the snow or to see how the weather people are on. Well, I know one thing when I took these pictures from our 2nd floor deck, I went outside to get a better view, it is COLD out there. I was at one point beginning to wonder here we are the first part of November and being as warm as it has been. They say it is suppose to get back up in the 60's by next week again. So here we go, the roller coaster with the weather. We will keep you up to date with our weather. Until then, you in Florida enjoy your weather.

The beautiful difference being in Alaska is that once the first few dustings of snow have come, the snow doesn't melt until "break up" in the spring. We don't have the rutted muddy, icey, places we used to get in our driveway on White Creek. It is actually quite beautiful in the winter but the days are short. If you are with people and stay busy, it is very nice. The white snow brightens it up. You should try it sometime. Ha! Love you, Rhetta
