Career Day! 2007

Friday, January 4, was Career Day!
At Hobe Sound Christian Academy, Hobe Sound, Florida.
The boys knew what they wanted to be.

Here is Evan, as a Missionary Pilot, Like Mr. Martin

who is a Pilot for Missions Flights International here in Florida.

(I think he looks like a Politician, what do you think?)

I think he likes to tell others about Jesus,

Well with that smile I am not sure what he is thinking.

I am so happy when I see the smiles on the boys faces.

This is our Air Force Fire Fighter!

I caught him off guard here.

In Chapel they had some speak about their careers,

Dr. and Mrs. Stephen Kelley spoke, and Mrs. Kelley spoke first

of her and her husband being Missionaries in Bangladesh.

Then Dr. Kelley spoke of his job of being a doctor as a surgeon.

Mr. & Mrs. Kelley had slides that they shared with us in Chapel.

Some were of before and afters of surgeries that he had performed.

He is the only doctor, along with some nurses and orderlies to help him.

One of the slides that they showed were the people that were standing outside of

the building waiting to be waited on and cared for by the doctor.

They also had the Principal, Mr. Mc Elwain speak after he handed out awards. During his talk as he spoke of a little girl who was preparing herself to be a Missionary when she gets older. She was digging up warms and someone had asked her what she was doing. She said I am digging up warms so that I can eat them. He asked her why is she doing that? She said that if she is going to become a Missionary she needs to learn to like to eat warms.

Then after Chapel I met up with the boys in the cafeteria for lunch of subs (oh the subs were so good) and chips, fruit and a drink. Well, Evan decided to drink out of his water bottle before he went back with the class.

Ethan decided to make a salad out of his lettuce, setting

here chatting with his class mate, andfriend, Ethan Martin.

Oh! Did I mention they had dessert too!

Here is Ethan with his, can you guess what it is

Grandpa Gerard?

Evan had, I believe it was a strawberry ice cream sandwich.

I then had to get ready to pick Ruth up from work,

we then went home before picking up the boys and I was

setting in the living room looking out the window and

watching it rain. Then all of a sudden I saw this beautiful

Rainbow.

God always reminds me that everything is going to

work out.

I know you don't see the beautiful rainbow.

It is just the top of the tree line in the center.

It was really a big one too!

(Well, you I am sure, know what happens when you have to go get

your camera and come back it is almost gone.)
