Memorial Day!
Jim and I went over to Ruth and Becky's to help get things ready for Sarah.
Ruth and Becky and Easton went to the airport to pick Sarah up,
she was due in at 12:12 PM.
While they did that we were getting things around.
When they arrived, Becky came in and told the boys to come help get things out of the van.
They told them there was something they had to get out of the back seat, so they opened
the door, there was Sarah, they didn't know that she was coming. We wanted to surprise them.
They were stunned when they opened the door. It was cute to see their faces.
We went in the house and got ready for a cook out. Becky bought a gas grill. We had to have hamburgs and hotdogs. Becky fixed them, she tried her best to be like her Grandpa Weatherwax, to make them like his. You did a great job Becky, I am proud of you.
We missed you Mom and Dad, we thought of you much during the day. But I am glad that you had things that you were able to get done that day, placing things on the different graves you went too and all. Bless you and we do miss you, bunches. Hope to see you soon.
Ruth had purchased a small swimming pool with a pump for the boys,
They worked at putting it together, this is Sarah and Easton trying to help her open the box.

Here is Rebecca (Becky) and Sarah.

Everyone had a part in it. Here is Grandpa looking over instructions.

Here they are all doing something to help.

Just a closer view of them working hard.

These are some pictures of the boys helping Mommy make the dessert for todays dinner.
Ethan and Evan are hard at work to make this cake.
They found a heart as they were cutting the strawberries. Evan with Mommy.
Ethan with Mommy!
Here they are spreading the frosting.
Here is Evan decorating the cake.
Here is the finished project, isn't it beautiful? Thank you boys, I am sure it was good.
The boys know, Grandma wasn't able to have any. (diabetic)
We did have a very nice time. It is good to have Sarah here with us. We are all trying our best to get her to move down here with us. I don't know. Time will tell.
I pray all is well with you, and that you had a good week end.
It was good that you stopped by my blog. Please stop by again.
I might not keep it up like I use too, but I am trying my best to do something when I can.
Have A Blessed Day, and God Bless Each of You!

The cake looks wonderful. Katie would have eaten the fruit right off of the top. We bought Patricia one of those pools. The smaller one. 8x30. She loves it. The only problem is the pump doesn't seem to want to clean the water very well. We are looking into a bigger pump and a pool vac. So much money to maintain them. She loves hers. So nice to see Sarah made it. And what a surprise for the boys. WOW!! Glad you had a great day. Take care.
