Remembering... (just a few of what I could find)
Easton showing us the way to go, this was last year, I made the scarecrow outfit.
Doesn't he look cute? Well, I think so anyway. Then there is Ethan below..

Saluting to us. I also made his military outfit last year. Then there is Evan
Howdy Partner! I made the fringed spats the vest sorry to dark to see.
I think that they are trying to out do the pumpkin face smile on the cake in the back of them, don't you? I think they are going to enjoy the cake don't you?

2.
Then there is the Frontier Days. Ethan and Evan stayed with us for a little while back in 05 so Mommy and daddy could prepare to move. So I was able to take them to a Halloween Festivity. I made both of their outfits. Evan the Indian and Ethan Davey Crockett. Or Daniel Boone who ever wore the coon skin hat. The smaller pumpkins the boys carved in CLC, a children's ministry. It went along with an object lesson "I gave about

"The Pumpkin Prayer"

The Prayer goes like this:

Dear God,

"As I carve my pumpkin help

Me say this prayer:

Open my mind so I can

Learn about You.

(cut top off the pumpkin)

Take away all my sin and forgive

Me for the wrong things I do.

(Clean out inside)

Open my eyes so Your Love I will see:

(Cut eyes like hearts)

I'm sorry for turning up my

Nose to all you've given me.

(Cut a nose in shape of cross)

Open my ears so your word

I will hear.

(Cut ears shaped like a Bible)

Open my mouth so I can

Tell others you're near.

(Cut the mouth shaped like a fish)

Let Your Light shine in all

I say and do" Amen.

(Place candle inside & Light it)

They were ready to take on the Frontier.

While the boys were staying with us, Easton stayed with Mommy and daddy. Here he looks like they got his x-rays taken, doesn't it?

I think he was enjoying the pumpkin in front of him, don't you?
I didn't think that Easton would be going out trick or treating, so this particular year I decided to make him a snowsuit. They were preparing to move to Michigan at this time. So here he is modeling it.
Evan with one of two pumpkins we got, a friend of Aunt Becky let us go on their place and get the pumpkins for the boys.
Ethan with the other one. And then below the two of them trying to get one of them to the car.

What does the National Anthem Mean To You?

I saw this on a blog and felt like I needed to share it also. Thank you Phillip.
May we all take this video to our hearts and share it with others too.

1. Sunday- October 21, 2007
Yes, it is Sunday, the day that we go to the Father's House to worship Him. Is that what took place in your home to day? Taking the family to the Father's House is the most rewarding thing that we can do. Throughout out our lives as christians, that is what we have done.
Raising our children for the Lord is so rewarding. As we look back we would have not did it any other way. I feel that our girls have become beautiful woman that have chose their lot in life. Sarah is living in Jackson, Michigan working in a Retirement Home. She loves working with the people, the residents of the home, she has had a few pass in her arms. It takes special people to work in those kind of places, and I believe that Sarah is one of those special people.
Then our second daughter, Ruth who lives in Stuart, Florida, raising three little boys, our grandsons, Ethan 6, Evan 5, and Easton 2. Not only is she the Mother to our grandsons she also works in a Child Care of 2-3 years olds in Hobe Sound, Florida, next to Hobe Sound Christian Academy, where our grandsons Ethan, and Evan attend. Little Easton goes with mommy to work, for they have a pre-school in the Child Care Center. She is able to get out of work so that she is there to get the boys from school and spend the rest of the evening with them every day. Not only does she care her boys and the children at the child care center, she also is in charge of the Childrens Church in her church, about 12-15 children every Sunday. So she is blessed being able to work with children.
Then our youngest, Rebecca, most know her by Becky, she still lives at home, caring for Mom & Dad. No,really she works out in also a Retirement Home, in Sparta, Michigan. She to has a big responsability of caring for the residents in the home. She does care for her residents very much. Again it takes that special person to do the job that she does.
We thank the Lord for the girls lives very much. We feel they have grown to know the Lord and living for Him and giving their all in the work that they are doing. Would you please pray for them, that the Lord will continually help them and give them the strength to continually give their love and care in their jobs and who ever they come in contact with. Help them to be a blessing.
Speaking of our Father's Day, Sunday, it is He who made the beauty of the fall that a lot of us get to see. I have shared some pictures with you of the Muskegon river and God's beauty. Where my sister had shared some time with me. I love the beauty in which God, our heavenly father created.
Below are some pictures that I have taken a few weeks ago at a lake that is not to far from our home. Actually we have several lakes that we could go too. But this one is Long Lake, in Sparta, Michigan. It is a lake I have gone to all my life. Sparta is my home town. I was trying to get some pictures for those of you in Florida. The day was kind of a hazy one. The sun did attempt to come out a little, but most of the day was hazy or gray looking, so the pictures are not what I would have liked them to be.

On our way back home, after I had been to the lake, I had asked Becky if she would stop at a farm where I could take this picture of some pumpkins.
Then as we were home parking, across the drive I saw this wild turkey running. I hurried to get my camera out and he was running to fast for me to get him close enough. So I zoomed in and it was hurried so I wasn't able to get him very well, but here he is, Mr. Turkey running across the back of our place.

1. Treated Like A Queen! (there is 14 blogs of this, so you will have to click on older blogs to continue at the bottom right corner of page)
Last week I received a call from my sister, Sandy. She told me that she had taken a vacation day Friday, and she wanted me to go with her to her houseboat. I told her I would be glad too. So Thursday I met her after she got out of work and we went up to Muskegon River. Believe it or not we were the only ones at the club on their side of the river Thursday night and most of Friday. It was a beautiful time. The weather was gorgeous, it was in the 80's the time I was there the average for this time of year is maybe in the 50's. So we took advantage!
As you can see I received a very warm "welcome".
This is my sister's dog Oscer This is my neice's dog, Smeigal.

2. The House Boats
Along with my sister, I have a niece and a nephew that each have a boat.
This is my sister's boat, it is called "Sandy Bottom"!
This is my niece Tracy and her husband Gary's boat. It is called "Fishful Thinking"!
This is our nephew Eric and his wife, Carol's boat. Didn't get the name for their boat.
Friday evening for supper my sister fixed me steak on the grill along with a sweet potato and asparagus. It was so good. This is where we ate our supper. On the top of my niece's boat. It was so beautiful up there. The next few pictures are of the "Great Art Work Of God", that we could see while we were eating.

3. God's Art Work!
These are some of the views that we could see while we were eating our supper.
